The Alliance Airlines Aviation Maintenance and Overhaul Facility project was designed to increase the capabilities of the Rockhampton Regional Airport. The construction of a dedicated aircraft and maintenance facility has enabled Alliance Airlines to relocate the heavy base maintenance of its aircraft fleet, which since 2015 has been serviced predominantly overseas, back onshore delivering significant economic benefits to the Rockhampton and Central Queensland region, and help to expand Central Queensland’s skilled employment base.
Schwarz scope of work included site preparation, bulk earthworks and detailed excavation works for the Hangars and Code C aprons.
