As part of Aurizon’s FY25 Asset Renewals Newlands Formations Program, Schwarz Excavations was engaged to deliver the construction of the Pring-Buckley rail formation between NL5.1 km and 5.5 km on the Main Road alignment in Central Queensland.
The project formed part of Formation Package A and involved the removal and reconstruction of existing track infrastructure, extensive earthworks, and the delivery of a new engineered formation designed to improve long-term track performance and resilience.
