The Project

Schwarz delivered a multifaceted civil infrastructure project, encompassing drainage, earthworks, pavement construction, and road furniture installation along a key corridor. The project has significantly improved safety for all road users by addressing longstanding issues along Razorback Road, enhancing both visibility and road conditions throughout the corridor.

The Scope

Scope of Works

  • Drainage: Replacement of six culverts with new Class 4 RCPs, inlet structures, concrete gullies, and erosion protection.
  • Earthworks: 13,400m³ cut, bulk excavation, embankment construction, and subgrade treatment.
  • Pavement: Placement of 2.1 and 2.3 gravel pavement layers, sealing, and asphalt surfacing.
  • Road Furniture: Guardrails, barriers, guideposts, signage, line marking, and raised reflective markers.
  • HSEQ: Robust environmental management, erosion controls, and full compliance with survey and as-constructed documentation.
